Yeah, I'm sure they'll teach you something

New review in the Leo Romero "skater of the year" issue of THRASHER (apr). It's been a pretty rad week here at Shark Bait HQ with the printing of #42 and then seeing this in the new THRASHER. You can order both on the right side of the screen securely with your Paypal account.... Thanks to everyone who helps make these happen- contributors, ads, people who rip, and mostly Megan for battling the robots (various xerox machines) for me!

I don't think the world needs me, but I think I need the world.

While we were skating Stillwater on Saturday I guess the PC staff photographer came to our park to shoot some photos of skating that ended up on the cover. Pretty awesome that 2 out of 3 of them are wearing Smash shirts, you can see more of his shots here (just click the blue button on the left for photos and you'll see the album.
Speaking of Smash t-shirts- got these beauties in on Friday. (you should totally order one over there on the right)
Mikey Red- backside nosegrinder on a cruiser!
Patrick "River Trash" Harvey- crooked grind.
Along with a brief John Rattray interview in the coming Shark Bait, there's also an interview with the man above, Mr. Nicholas Ley, of Colourmusic. Colourmusic have a cool write-up over here you should check out and it's awesome that Nic not only skates, but is repping Smash in this "industry" type photo. Thanks!
Wes dropping his go-to tre-flip into N.B.D. land (so I heard) over the Stillwater pyramid.
Drew was back in the greatest state in the union on hiatus from his new home in Kansas and did this backlip.

Wes Anderson interview!!!

ollie
hardflip
Being a Smash team member and one of my main roll-dogs, I end up with lots and lots of photos of Wes. I thought maybe it would be a good idea to dump some of them in here and have a little web interview with him- here goes:
Tell Me about being on the Smash flowgram?
The Smash Flowgram is pretty much the shit. I get to skate with good friends who love skateboarding and get to look "dead hawt" doin' it.
I've noticed you're not such a weiner about skating transition lately- what made you overcome your fear of having fun?
Just finding the fun was the best part, but it still scares the tits clean off me!
Tell people who don't know him how awesome Mr. Matt Nelson is.
You talk about "havin' a guy", that dude knows everything about anything and always has good advice in addition to being the nicest dude ever.
Who are your favorite skaters right now?
Bam Vahngared and Tony Hanks! Just kidding, I'm going to go with Mikey Taylor and Eric Kosten.

Which will your brother choose- skateboarding or football?
Dude, I don't know, he will probably quit playing football when he isn't the best one on the team. You know how jocktastic he is though.

How was round 2 of your root canal?
It was a no go, dentist was sick.

Any last words or people you'd like to thank?
I would like to thank you, Bradley, and Matt!

ps: Lil' Hoe gets a baby thank. (not a full one!)
