Same old thing we did last week.

I made some new t-shirts this evening- Smashitup, All over print, and smart-ass rasta. You kids asked me to make t-shirts.....
This is kind of old- Megan and her grandpa at her sister's wedding. That dude is pretty epic.

This photo ended up in the Enid newspaper the other day with our engagement announcement. Megan's step-mom wanted us to hire a professional to take this photo- we set the timer and got cute on the ramp instead. Shitbags.

Lou- "in the shit".

Forgot about this- killer review in John Doe 'zine. You may have to click on the picture if you actually care to read it. I'd like to thank the skaters of Tulsa for making me look good- every trick he calls out about being sick in the article is one of you....

Smashed my face up pretty good last Thursday. I was doing a frontside ollie over the hip and landed right as Tom (I.C.P. jangly jeans) was rolling down the wedge from the euro gap. We were going so fast neither of us had time to put our hands up, so the impact was literally head on. He got his nose and eye-area pretty scratched up (via my teeth), but came out a little better than I did. It was really cool of him to call that night and make sure I was okay, would've done the same if I'd had his number. I don't care if that dude wears funny pants everyday- he's a rad guy. (Everyone else who wears those weird, baggy, jangly pants is still a kook, though)

Save your savior boyfriend

Debris!
That's Chuck Ivey on the left, who I spoke to in the Debris interview in Shark Bait. He's a cool fucker.

These guys influenced Sonic Youth and a slew of other bands to get weird and make noise. I'm so happy to have their one and only lp and to have gotten to see them live.

Kind of a bummer no Gardes performance. Oh well, here's Horton eating some chips instead.

Bokovoys.

Kind of blew it, but this dude had the full I.C.P. face-paint.

Addy and Tabby.

Wifey.

Frisbys.

The other side says "hate and violence". Norman is fucked.

That guy in the glasses was waiting for me to step forward so he could push me. Press pass only beyond this point= shitty photos of Chainsaw Kittens.

Tyson and The Chainsaw Kittens should be ridiculously rich and famous. It has to feel good to play for your hometown crowd after all these years and see everyone go apeshit, though.

Spencer is huge now.

Yard yoga to warm up for the session.
Nice to see everyone and hats off to Debris and Chainsaw Kittens.

Cooking hot dogs with napalm....

Hadn't been to the good ol' Board Shop in a while....

They've got everything you need.

Check it out, Nate- they even sell tight jeans!

Scott talked me into doing this. It's nothing more than a little scratcher.... Still fun as hell.

Sorry this picture sucks (should've opened the door sooner). Notice how much further his back truck is on than mine. He rips.

All scary rock-n-rolls are dedicated to The Friz. That's how he mangled his arm in Edmond years ago.

Scott- Back Smith. I'd like to think I helped skate coach this into happening.

April 19th is coming up quick for those of you in the know......

You look like you're both pretty groovy.

I got directions to a skate shop in Edmond to buy some bearings, and they had a pretty fun little set up. The mini-ramp section with the spine reminded me of "Daddy-O's", a skatepark in Tulsa in the early 90's- pretty much heaven on earth at the time for me....

I think it usually costs ten bucks to skate (pretty steep), but if you buy something I think you can skate for free. I did.

Weirdsville park in Guthrie, OK.

Sweet wallrider, though.

Just some dude.

I came home one day to this covering the bathroom floor.

Trip out.

Marge got all her childhood barbies out of storage and was washing them. Pretty creepy scene to walk in on.

Lou caught her first mouse. She didn't even kill it, just played with it, and then I threw it outside. Pretty cute shit.

Got a package today from DAF. You know the coozie company that sponsors skaters like Emmanuel Guzman and Justin Strubing? Pretty sweet.

I was supposed to review this stuff in the next Shark Bait, but morale is a little low on starting the new one. Ever since my hard drive went tits up that contained an Ian MacKaye interview, a decent amount of good photos, and some other crap I'd written- I'm having a hard time getting motivated. So who knows when a new one will come out so I'll review it here for now.... They've got you covered- bottles, tall cans, and a huge variety in the 12oz. can department; your hand will be warm and your drink of choice will be cold. They also sent along some sweet stickers, my favorite being "support your local lurker", and a copy of their vid "Goin' Big". It's a pretty damn good vid and cool to see big name dudes like Emmanuel Guzman kick down worthwhile footage for a bro-team. Check them out at www.dafskate.com
