Broken hearted boys like me are everywhere you look.

New Smash stickers and new Shark Bait! Just 2 bucks on the right....
DJ Fort- nollie frontside noseslide (Go Skateboarding Day@ Mohawk Park in Tulsa)
Jordan Rudichuk switch bigspin heels for Jesus.
Seth ollies for the hell of it.
Chris Albright- frontside grind the taco
DJ Fort- nollie crooks
Brian McNair- grind of death
These aren't from "Go Skateboarding Day", but we went skating anyway. Seth- smith
Wesley- kickflip. (judging by the height of this, he should've just done the "big" rail instead)

We Aren't the World

For two consecutive years Megan and I managed to see Toys That Kill on our Anniversary. The guys in The Arrivals were excited for us and we became instant pals with Dave (left) and Isaac (right). They even gave us a shout-out while they were playing (as did Todd Congelliere from Toys That Kill). Dave is also in a Guided By Voices tribute band called "Text Book Committee" back in Chicago, which I thought was awesome, and Isaac is the fellow who did the interview with me a few issues ago for Shark Bait. (this photo was supposed to be down there with all the other stuff from the show, but didn't show up- sorry here's some locs skating and then back to this show...)
Wes and Seth- lurking at the newly renovated ditch. (weird, Wes isn't making a face like an asshole for once.)
Simple Pleasures in America, indeed. Wes- ollie
Eccentric as all hell and tailor-made for skateboarding- Butthash with a blunt rock fakie.
Killa I is, uh, Killer. Frontside flip disaster.
Seth, Wes, and I made this wonderful ledge a few weeks back. It turned out super legit and Seth got one of the first grinds on it.
That's more like it- Wes gone wild.
Wes- properly locked and popped out smith grind. Angle-iron is heavenly.
The Needlepoints are so good!
Kale of The Needlepoints!
I was so excited to see The Arrivals.
and they were just as great as I thought they'd be.
Paddy on the left there is also in Dillinger Four. That's awesome on it's own....
Toys That Kill! Recess Records have been killing it so hard lately....
Todd C. rules!
Thanks for the great show and bullshitting with us! Where do you wanna meet up next year on May 31st? If you'd like to see some videos from this show head over here and if you like what you hear, you can get most of this stuff at Size Records in OKC or simply go here if you live elsewhere....

I try my best not to miss you, I don't try very hard.

Isn't this ridiculous?! It's actually in Oklahoma. (that's all I'm saying- pool etiquette and stuff ya know?)
Built with skating in mind, but meant to be challenging exactly like a real pool. Actually, it is a "real" pool, it probably has water in it as I type this.
Christian- over the death box
Crazy coping and practically, if not, over-vert shallow end.
Met a bunch of new dawgs at this thing.... Thanks so much for building this and allowing folks to skate, L!
Kyle- frontside grind on the shallow
Super crazy stairs
No problem for Christian to slide over though... This guy is so good.
Evan- frontside air. He's only 15.
Darrin- backside slasher
Dave has been skating pools since the 70's and it shows. Killing it at 51!
I was the only person without pads and managed to slam the most. Retardo goes rock-n-roll. ph- Darrin
So rad
Evan over the stairs
Dave and Darrin
Christian- another frontside grind, but I like this shot better and it's the best trick ever.
Thinking about being "down for life" with this crappy local company...
Eh, why not?- I'm going to be pouring concrete my whole life anyway.
Wes- Tokyo drifting kickflip with no room for error.
East Jr. High front board. You only get one baby push to get to this thing. Ph- Wes
Wesley nosegrinds it anyway.
Metal Massacre! Duane on the left is Wesley's step-dad and Seth's dad- he's keeping the metal scene alive here. (I may not like metal much, but it's great to see these guys getting to do what makes them happy.) Their band is called Grain Of Honor if you can't read the banner in the back.
Cool curb/bank/gap situation in Stillwater
I asked Wes to do something on this because the spot was so janky and cool looking. Why is there 3 feet of angle iron on this? Crooked grind.
