I'm really excited Aaron got to do the cover for this and it's even better that he got a credit as the drummer. Can never say enough nice things about Tyson Meade- he really should've gotten more famous in the 90's, but instead of being bitter about it he remains one of the nicest people I've ever met. They recorded these right before Jesse went on tour with his band, Other Lives, opening up for Radiohead- so this thing is filled with talented and nice folks. The 7" will be released at the Guestroom Record stores in OKC, Norman, and Bricktown(?) on Record Store Day; which is April 28th. For the time being or if you live elsewhere and may not get the chance to snatch on of these up (limited to 700) you can download the songs here.

I love everything Tyson Meade. Whether his first band Defenestration-truly one of the first alternative rock bands, Chainsaw Kittens, or his solo stuff. It's all incredible! I also love Other Lives and The Flaming Lips (Derek Brown does keyboards in these tracks). Awesome to hear this collaboration!!! -boots-
