Don't you wanna hang out with the bleach boys, baby?
Painted up some new Smash boards. You can buy our crap at The Board Shop in Tulsa and at Chapman's here in PC pretty soon. We'll probably get 8 inchers soon, too. You know, in case you care.
Megan is getting good at taking pictures of me at vulnerable times. I look totally femenine with a cig in my left hand. Nice one, dear.
I like minimalistic graffiti. Edmond, OK.
I like "thiefs will be prosecuted" at the top. Theives are okay.
Fun with reflections. Stacy's furniture on Central Ave.
This is Larry. He's doing Red Dirt Skateboards out of Ardmore, OK. On that note- there's also a new 'zine in Tulsa called CONCRETE GUERILLA done by a nice fellow named Adam. With Shark Bait and Smash that would be funny if I got bummed on these dudes, but I say the more the merrier. This is Oklahoma, skating and bro-ing down are more important than competition and money.

2 chicks, 2 dudes, a dog, cat, and a baby.
We got a flat tire on the way down and I changed it and thought everything was cool. On the way home the same shit happened and I realized it was rubbing on the silver crap around the fender. So, after 2 flat tires on the same stretch of highway, with no more tires to use and nowhere to buy one at 8:00 on a Sunday, we had to call a wrecker. $75 for a 15 minute trip. (you should read this section from the bottom. it starts down there and this is the only bummer of the whole weekend.)
The general crew. They even had their dog, Nala, with them all weekend.
We all went to the park in Stillwater and saw two OG "weekend guys" Mikey Nugs and Shawn. Shawn is just now able to skate again after a massive ankle surgery. I love these shitheads.

New whip
I bought this truck today for 400 bucks. Reverse doesn't work and I have to use plyers for the windshield wipers to turn on, but other than that it's pretty epic. It's going to rule for skating and work. All I need is some manly stickers about fishing and a BEEF license plate and I'm ready to party.

Dan and Poopy
Dan called me from the laundromat and asked if I wanted to skate around while he waited on his clothes. Poopy showed up, we did some wallrides, and shot the shit. Poopy mentioned how it was funny how adults wave at us now instead of giving us dirty looks for skateboarding. I told him it was probably because they think it's cute that grown men are still standing around in the alley trying tricks. God bless skateboarding. Or not.

Ted Nugent
I've been working with this sketchy ex-con dude for the past few weeks. The first day he started working my uncle (and boss) , Clark, called him "Ted Nugent" in passing and the name has stuck. The other day we were mentioning how we had no clue what his real name was anymore. He started to tell us, and I cut in and said- "it doesn't matter now, you'll always be The Nuge unless one of us comes up with something better."
It was a pretty uneventful weekend around here. The rain put a damper on my usual Sunday shralp-a-thon. Sometime this week I'm supposed to go shred with Dan "D" Bayha, and I'll share the photos if that goes down.
If blogs are really pumping your nads- go to http://filmporvida.blogspot.com/ and check out some pics I have on there and all the other cool stuff he has up. If it wasn't for seeing his (Jai Tanju) blog I wouldn't have this one right now.
On a non-computer nerd note- work has begun on Shark Bait #34 since the weather is allowing us to go outside and live finally.

I took a shitload of slams today too. At the park I was trying a trick I've always wanted to do. It's nothing worth mentioning, and I felt like a total jock trying it over and over. I finally landed it and wasn't happy so I had to do it again. That came with a whole new batch of slams and my shoulder started to feel pretty creepy. Then I finally did it again and feel like I sort of accomplished something today, which is always good. This happened at the wallride spot and fucked up my shoulder even more and I was officially over it for the day.
If you didn't know- American Hardcore is out on dvd now. I'm going to go watch it now.
It was cool to skate with the Stillwater fools twice in one week.

Georgie is insane.
This evening we went to skate the wallride at the ghetto apartments (forty north) in Stillwater. George started trying this nutso gap out of nowhere. The part where you would start your ollie was slanted downhill, which is just retarded and akward. He's the only dude I know who would fuck with something like this. The thought of just ollieing it never crossed his mind, he went straight into committing 100% to heelflips. Unfortunately it didn't get pulled, but these were some of the gnarliest slams I've seen in a long time. Get spracked.

Sucky supreme
I feel corny about putting pics up of myself, but I don't really have anything else to do with them. Megan and I will be driving and I'll see something I want to skate or get some idea and she's always cool about stopping and letting me session. There's really nothing else for her to do, so she grabs the camera and shoots whatever is going down. This is an old spot in Stillwater that I always liked. The rails are all skate-proofed and they have a "no skateboarding" sign now, but this sounded fun and we were in and out.
It's funny when you're older and realize you'll never be more than mediocre at skating. I've never enjoyed skateboarding as much as I do at this point in my life. If you're happy and having fun, you're always ruling it, even if you totally suck. Amen.
